Patient

Lucinda was diagnosed with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) at 11 and began treatment using a Gensingen Brace. She initially experienced discomfort in the centre of her back, which soon settled as she adjusted to brace wear.

Treatment

Lucinda’s treatment combined full-time bracing with Schroth-based exercises to support improved posture and awareness of her spinal positioning.

Outcome

She has shown strong curve reduction and continues to make excellent progress. Now through her main adolescent growth phase, Lucinda is gradually weaning from her brace and remains under monitoring to ensure continued postural and skeletal correction.
