SOSORT International Congress 2025 – A Brief Reflection

In April, Sally attended the 20th Annual SOSORTv International Congress, held in Dubrovnik, Croatia. As a board member of the Schroth Best Practice Academy, and a practitioner dedicated to the non-operative management of scoliosis, it was a valuable opportunity to stay closely connected to the latest developments in the field.

The congress brought together professionals from around the world, including attendees from Canada, The Netherlands, Denmark, Egypt, South Korea, Ukraine and the UK. Sally particularly appreciated the opportunity to spend time with several clinicians she supports through Gensingen brace design – reinforcing a sense of shared commitment to high-quality, personalised care.

The scientific programme included a range of thoughtful presentations and papers, many of which underlined the importance of evidence-based conservative management for scoliosis. It was also a welcome chance to reconnect with others working in similar roles, and to reflect on the strength and diversity of the international scoliosis community.

Braced for Scoliosis is proud to be part of this ongoing global conversation. Sally looks forward to continuing her contribution through collaboration, learning and patient-centred care.

If you’re a healthcare professional interested in learning more about Gensingen bracing or conservative scoliosis management, Sally is always happy to connect. Please feel free to get in touch.
